Due to the large volume of data involved, the maintenance period may be extended. We\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/ndMu3pERJU\">pic.twitter.com\/ndMu3pERJU<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Snowbreak: Containment Zone (@SnowbreakEN) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SnowbreakEN\/status\/2028470386611089756?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 2, 2026<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The temporary scheduled server maintenance for&nbsp;Snowbreak: Containment Zone began at 3:59 p.m.&nbsp;UTC&nbsp;on March 2. While the down period was undefined to begin with, Amazing&nbsp;Seasun&nbsp;Games warned that it could get prolonged due to the \u201clarge amount of data involved.\u201d&nbsp;Players were&nbsp;promised&nbsp;generous&nbsp;in-game compensation rewards and a separate announcement of when the game would reopen,&nbsp;but&nbsp;no&nbsp;follow-up&nbsp;news&nbsp;has been made so far.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cause for the indefinite maintenance is thought&nbsp;by some&nbsp;to be related to the cancellation of a collaboration event&nbsp;with China Post&nbsp;announced not long before.&nbsp;Amazing&nbsp;Seasun&nbsp;Games&nbsp;faced backlash&nbsp;soon after the announcement of the collab, with&nbsp;some netizens&nbsp;taking&nbsp;issue with&nbsp;the idea of&nbsp;a game with&nbsp;sexually&nbsp;suggestive themes&nbsp;collaborating with a public institution.&nbsp;Amidst heaping public pressure,&nbsp;the studio&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-china.com\/all\/article\/news\/20260227-22198-chen-bai-jin-qu-lian-dong-zhong-guo-you-zheng-yin-qi-zheng-yi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">decided to cancel the event<\/a>.&nbsp;Although there is no official confirmation&nbsp;about this, the&nbsp;subsequent&nbsp;server maintenance&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-china.com\/all\/article\/news\/20260303-22295-chen-bai-jin-qu-tu-ran-wu-xian-qi-ting-fu-wei-hu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">is believed to the&nbsp;related<\/a>&nbsp;to the incident, with the developers&nbsp;attempting&nbsp;to self-initiatively tone down expressions in the game&nbsp;that could get them in hot water.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1519\" height=\"853\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1519px) 100vw, 1519px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/20260325-64031-001.jpg\" alt=\"Snowbreak: Containment Zone\" class=\"wp-image-64035\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/20260325-64031-001.jpg 1519w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/20260325-64031-001-380x213.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/20260325-64031-001-768x431.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Nevertheless, three weeks is a long time for a&nbsp;live-service&nbsp;gacha&nbsp;game to remain offline.
