These rumors\u00a0were confirmed\u00a0on October 1\u00a0via\u00a0an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/news\/app\/2286600\/view\/503963131223999762?l=english\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">official statement<\/a>\u00a0from\u00a0publisher Cult Games. The VHS tapes themselves\u00a0contained\u00a0some voice-overs\u00a0that were generated using a text-to-speech AI service. Likewise, the Red Tree Entertainment logo\u00a0at the start of each tape\u00a0was edited and refined using Photoshop Generative AI.
