The only relation to \u201cNEWDAWN\u201d i could think of are \u201cThrough the Darkness\u201d lyrics &amp; Wesker&#39;s quotes in RE4R\/RE5. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/REBHFun?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#REBHFun<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/SRdn9rKZZn\">pic.twitter.com\/SRdn9rKZZn<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Resident Leo. (@RacconSurvivor) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RacconSurvivor\/status\/2030814099425382589?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 9, 2026<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On the&nbsp;flip side, there&nbsp;are those who are trying to decipher the meaning of the words \u201cNew Dawn\u201d.&nbsp;While&nbsp;some go so far as to examine the lyrics of the Resident Evil Requiem image song \u201cThrough the Darkness\u201d and quotes from the Resident Evil 4 remake and Resident Evil 5, others think that \u201cNew Dawn\u201d&nbsp;may have been&nbsp;the working title for Resident Evil Requiem while it was&nbsp;in development.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1510\" height=\"843\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1510px) 100vw, 1510px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/20260311-62683-002.jpg\" alt=\"Leon's Porsche in Resident Evil Requiem \" class=\"wp-image-62687\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/20260311-62683-002.jpg 1510w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/20260311-62683-002-380x212.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/20260311-62683-002-768x429.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Coincidentally, the initials \u201cND\u201d,&nbsp;which could stand for \u201cNew Dawn\u201d,&nbsp;can be found on the license plates of Leon\u2019s&nbsp;Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT.&nbsp;Leon\u2019s rear plate,&nbsp;\u201cND=9642\u201d,&nbsp;was first shown in the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/T54OWinnymM?si=7k-U1iemghEIS58f\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Resident Evil Requiem &#8211; 3rd Trailer<\/a>.&nbsp;If this is the case, then the complete plate number&nbsp;indicates&nbsp;that Resident Evil Requiem, aka \u201cNew Dawn\u201d,&nbsp;is the&nbsp;culmination of Leon\u2019s appearances in the franchise, with the numbers 9,6,4, and 2 referencing the mainline entries he has been in.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All of this is speculation, though.
