{"id":60538,"date":"2026-02-25T18:04:43","date_gmt":"2026-02-25T09:04:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/?p=60538"},"modified":"2026-02-25T18:06:45","modified_gmt":"2026-02-25T09:06:45","slug":"guilty-gear-strives-overseas-publishing-rights-to-be-transferred-from-bandai-namco-entertainment-to-developer-arc-system-works","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/guilty-gear-strives-overseas-publishing-rights-to-be-transferred-from-bandai-namco-entertainment-to-developer-arc-system-works\/","title":{"rendered":"Guilty Gear\u00a0Strive\u2019s\u00a0overseas\u00a0publishing rights to be transferred from Bandai Namco Entertainment to developer Arc System Works\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Arc System Works&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/xn--7ug\/https:\/\/www.guiltygear.com\/ggst\/en\/news\/post-2836\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">announced<\/a>&nbsp;on February 25&nbsp;that it has reached&nbsp;an agreement with Bandai Namco Entertainment&nbsp;regarding&nbsp;the&nbsp;transfer of&nbsp;<strong>Guilty Gear \u2013Strive \u2013\u2019<\/strong>s publishing rights.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting&nbsp;February 26, 2026, publishing rights for the fighting game&nbsp;in&nbsp;EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa)&nbsp;and Asian regions&nbsp;will&nbsp;be&nbsp;officially&nbsp;transferred to Arc System Works, including sales,&nbsp;promotion&nbsp;and all related operations.&nbsp;The transfer excludes the US,&nbsp;Japan and South Koea, where Arc System Works is already the publisher.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The developer expressed its \u201cdeepest gratitude\u201d to Bandai Namco\u00a0Entertainment\u00a0for\u00a0supporting Guilty Gear\u00a0Strive\u2019s\u00a0operations\u00a0in\u00a0Europe and Asia so\u00a0far, and\u00a0promises\u00a0to ensure a smooth handover.\u00a0The transfer\u00a0will not have any impact on\u00a0save\u00a0data, DLC and online matches, and players can continue using their existing accounts as-is.\u00a0On the other hand, with the change in publishers, inquiries related to Guilty Gear Strive\u00a0will now be going directly to Arc System Works.\u00a0The developer has provided forms for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.arcsystemworks.fr\/contact-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EMEA<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.arcsystemworks.asia\/formmail\/formmail_zh.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Asian<\/a>\u00a0regions\u00a0respectively.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During its February 26 maintenance, Guilty Gear Strive will be updated with patch Ver1.52. This patch is meant to accommodate the handover and will not affect gameplay.
