Shortly after being resurrected in Romeo Is a Dead Man<\/strong>\u2019s first chapter, you are thrust into the thick of things and have to fight not just hordes of Rotters, but a boss as well. Here\u2019s a quick guide on how to defeat your first big obstacle, Everyday Is Like Monday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Everyday\u00a0Is<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

As soon as the battle starts,\u00a0Everyday\u00a0Is Like Monday will hurl fireballs at you.\u00a0Dodge these projectiles and start shooting at the monster\u2019s blue weak point\u00a0on her left knee\u00a0with your\u00a0ranged weapon. Destroying the weak point\u00a0deals\u00a0a\u00a0good\u00a0amount of damage and forces\u00a0the boss to fall on her knees, leaving her open to succeeding attacks.\u00a0Make full use of your normal\u00a0and light attack combos, as your Bloody Summer special move is best saved for tight situations.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Everyday\u00a0Is<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The boss has one more weak point at the back of her right leg after she gets popped in her knee cap. Just like before, shoot it with your ranged weapon and use the succeeding opening to do as much damage as you can. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once her weak points have been destroyed, you\u2019ll have to adopt a more hit-and-run approach. Everyday Is Like Monday has a variety of ranged and melee attacks, all of which are very telegraphed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her ranged attacks consist of a pair of fireballs, a roll followed by a wall of flame, and rotating circles of flame. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Everyday\u00a0Is<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Her fireballs are the easiest to dodge, as\u00a0she ignites\u00a0her arms before throwing them at you.\u00a0Run or dodge to the side as they approach you,\u00a0and\u00a0you\u2019ll\u00a0be able to close the distance\u00a0in no time.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Everyday\u00a0Is<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Her\u00a0roll\u00a0isn\u2019t\u00a0meant to catch\u00a0you,\u00a0but\u00a0rather\u00a0to\u00a0distract\u00a0you from the succeeding wall of flame she sends forth afterwards.\u00a0Provided that\u00a0you\u00a0know\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0coming,\u00a0you can run to\u00a0the monster\u2019s side to avoid the fire wall entirely. Otherwise, you can simply jump over the fire as it\u00a0approaches\u00a0you.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Everyday\u00a0Is<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Whether you\u2019re up close or far away, the boss will occasionally stomp one foot followed by the other. Each stomp will spawn a wide circle of flame around you, which slowly closes in. Unlike the wall of flame that Everyday Is Like Monday shoots after her roll, the walls of the circles are much higher and cannot be jumped over. Your best bet is to dodge through one of the small gaps in the circles, which can be challenging considering the speed at which they rotate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Everyday Is Like Monday excels at close range, her attacks are far slower. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Everyday\u00a0Is<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Her most common move up close is her swipe, which\u00a0covers\u00a0all of\u00a0her sides and can come from any\u00a0angle.\u00a0Make sure to constantly reposition yourself as you attack her so as not to get caught by her swipes. In case you linger in one area\u00a0too long\u00a0while finishing a combo, a quick dodge will allow you to avoid it.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Everyday\u00a0Is<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Apart from being her most damaging move,\u00a0her jump attack\u00a0allows you to experience what\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0like\u00a0to\u00a0play basketball against Shaquille O’Neal.\u00a0Thankfully, it is telegraphed by a short crouch followed by a giant leap. The splash area of the leap\u00a0isn\u2019t\u00a0too big, but it can catch you\u00a0off-guard\u00a0if\u00a0you\u2019re\u00a0in the middle of a combo.\u00a0Don\u2019t\u00a0get\u00a0greedy,\u00a0and\u00a0remember to run away once the boss decides to\u00a0go\u00a0airborne.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Everyday\u00a0Is<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The last of her close-range moves is her oil puddles. As soon as you see her shaking and producing puddles on the ground, hightail it out of there. Everyday Is Like Monday will quickly ignite the puddles afterward, dealing constant damage should you happen to stand in them. Unless you\u2019re really unlucky, not all of the surfaces near the boss\u2019s feet will be engulfed in flame, allowing you to attack from different angles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Though Everyday Is Like Monday isn\u2019t a tough boss, her damage over time attacks and powerful leap can quickly whittle your health if you aren\u2019t careful. Should you ever find yourself in a bind, use your Bloody Summer special move as a “Get Out of Jail Free” card. The invincibility it provides, coupled with its high damage, will ensure that you\u2019re the last dead man standing.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Romeo is a Dead Man is set to release on February 11, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows (Steam<\/a>). A Nintendo Switch 2 version is currently in development. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
