Marvelous<\/strong>\u00a0has\u00a0reported\u00a0that\u00a0its\u00a0game-related\u00a0revenue\u00a0increased by 159%\u00a0(to $61.775\u00a0million USD)\u00a0year-on-year during the\u00a0third fiscal quarter (October to December 2025). Operating profits went up 87%\u00a0(to\u00a0$7.285 million USD)\u00a0during the\u00a0same period, as reported by\u00a0Gamebiz<\/a>. True to\u00a0the company\u2019s\u00a0forecasts last year<\/a>,\u00a0the release of new titles, particularly\u00a0Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma\u00a0and\u00a0Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar,\u00a0has\u00a0allowed it to bounce back\u00a0following several losses.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After\u00a0reporting losses<\/a>\u00a0for the\u00a0last\u00a0two fiscal quarters, Marvelous’s\u00a0game sector has finally returned to a state of profitability, simultaneously achieving\u00a0the highest revenue\u00a0since\u00a0it was founded, according to Gamebiz.\u00a0In addition to Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma and Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar\u2019s\u00a0initial\u00a0release sales,\u00a0the games\u2019\u00a0subsequent updates and\u00a0additional\u00a0content\u00a0have\u00a0contributed\u00a0to their popularity and longevity.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When it comes\u00a0to\u00a0mobile games, Marvelous\u2019s existing titles,\u00a0such as Dolphin Wave,\u00a0were reported to be doing well thanks to their anniversary events. However, its most recent title,\u00a0Browser Sangokushi Ten, has gotten off to a slower start than expected since launching in October 2025.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking forward, Marvelous plans to continue boosting revenue margins by developing new entries in its existing franchises and creating indie games. Its first order of business is releasing the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma on February 13. The studio is also hard at work on the next title in the Senran Kagura franchise, a mobile game tentatively titled \u201cProject N<\/a>\u201d.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
