Japanese\u00a0anime and film production\u00a0company\u00a0Avex\u00a0Pictures\u00a0has announced the surprise\u00a0global\u00a0release of\u00a0OUTCAST’S RESTAURANT\u00a0OrderRush<\/strong>, a\u00a0restaurant management mobile game\u00a0based on the\u00a0\u201cWelcome to the Outcast’s Restaurant!\u201d light novel series (which also got an anime last year).\u00a0Featuring popular characters like Dennis and Atelier, the game tasks you with managing a diner by taking customers\u2019 orders, serving the correct dishes, and cleaning up on time.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As\u00a0you\u00a0complete orders, you gain resources\u00a0that\u00a0allow you to\u00a0upgrade your workers,\u00a0which are called \u201cavatars.\u201d\u00a0These\u00a0upgrades\u00a0include level and stat\u00a0boosts,\u00a0and they make running the diner\u00a0progressively\u00a0easier. Instead of traditional cooking, avatar costumes are what change what dishes are available on the menu.\u00a0The\u00a0trick to successful diner management lies in leveling your crew, outfitting avatars to match the dishes each customer likes, and being quick with the service.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unlike\u00a0similar games\u00a0like Diner Dash and Overcooked,\u00a0OrderRush\u00a0isn\u2019t\u00a0meant to be\u00a0difficult. While\u00a0things can get a little hectic during certain hours (lunch and dinner rushes especially), the game is casual experience that\u00a0doesn\u2019t\u00a0make things unmanageable for those who have trouble multitasking.\u00a0The controls are set up so that you can play with one hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OUTCAST’S RESTAURANT\u00a0OrderRush\u00a0is available now on Android (Google Play<\/a>) and\u00a0iOS<\/a>\u00a0devices.\u00a0A\u00a0log-in campaign that awards free upgrade materials, gacha pulls and a unique avatar is currently ongoing, as are two paid discount campaigns.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
