Qureate, the developer and publisher of the popular Bunny Garden<\/a> franchise, has announced<\/a> that its \u00a0real-time soccer simulator Fantasista Asuka will release on February 12 for Nintendo Switch and Steam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Players take on the role of Daisuke Aozora, an aspiring coach who wants to train a world-class professional soccer team. After a chance encounter with Asuka Tenma, a member of the currently weakest all-female soccer team, The Golden Balls (do not look up what this means in Japanese), he finds himself dedicated to unlocking their hidden talents and turning their luck around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gameplay consists of simple commands that can be executed in real time. Actions such as shooting, dribbling, and intercepting passes require action points known as \u201cVibes,\u201d with each soccer player having a limited number of the resource. In order to win games, you must carefully manage your team\u2019s stats and swap out players, lest they become tired and their movements limited due to a lack of Vibes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While you start the game with just The Golden Balls, winning matches will allow you to recruit players from other teams to your roster. All of your players\u2019 stats can be improved through training between matches, allowing you to create anything from a well-balanced team to an offensive powerhouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, it wouldn\u2019t be a Qureate title without some raunchy bits, and Fantasista Asuka delivers on that front.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to standard actions like dribbling, shooting, and passing, some players have special abilities that consume a large amount of Vibes. Should these moves be successful, that player\u2019s uniform will get ripped to shreds, causing a \u201cUniform Break\u201d. While the moves are powerful, they force the player who executed them to temporarily leave the field so they can change clothes. As such, you must carefully consider the consequences of using a special move before committing to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apart from clothes-stripping special moves, Fantasista Asuka also features a mechanic where, once one side wins a match, both teams\u2019 players will strip and exchange their uniforms as a sign of respect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an effort to prevent social media takedowns, Qureate has included a \u201cheavenly light curtain\u201d that censors the girls\u2019 private parts during strips and uniform changes, that can be toggled on and off at will. The Switch version will also feature more censored images as compared to the PC version, on account of the console\u2019s family-friendly image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
