While some features will still be available in\u00a0a\u00a0limited capacity, others (such as the\u00a0sweaty\u00a0Ranked\u00a0Matches\u00a0mode) will be shutting down permanently.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are the features that will be shutting down after the planned downscaling:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Journal (specifically for uploading and downloading replays)\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ranked Matches (will be changed to \u201cCasual Match\u201d)\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Online Lobby\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Rankings\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Customize Menu (specifically for player profiles)\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>On a related note, serial codes that were bundled with&nbsp;Granblue&nbsp;Fantasy Versus or its DLC that are meant for the&nbsp;Granblue&nbsp;Fantasy mobile game can no longer be accessed, as the Serial Codes option in the main menu will be removed after downscaling.&nbsp;While there is no confirmation if these codes will work with the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/cygamess-beloved-jrpg-granblue-fantasy-getting-global-steam-release-12-years-after-japan-launch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">upcoming global version of&nbsp;Granblue&nbsp;Fantasy mobile<\/a>, you can still try them provided you copied them beforehand.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1515\" height=\"850\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1515px) 100vw, 1515px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/20260120-55930-001r.jpg\" alt=\"Granblue Fantasy Versus lobby\" class=\"wp-image-55933\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/20260120-55930-001r.jpg 1515w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/20260120-55930-001r-380x213.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/20260120-55930-001r-768x431.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Save for the&nbsp;aforementioned changes,&nbsp;all of&nbsp;Granblue&nbsp;Fantasy Versus\u2019&nbsp;other&nbsp;modes should work as intended.&nbsp;The Journal\u2019s Gallery and Glossary&nbsp;are&nbsp;still accessible, as are all of the offline game modes,&nbsp;including RPG mode\u2019s solo play and online backup request options, Versus mode, Arcade mode,&nbsp;Training mode, Mission Training, and Room Matches.&nbsp;Regarding&nbsp;Room Matches, only the following features will be unavailable: changes to rank and Versus rank, Replays, and the ability to view others&#8217; profiles.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For achievement hunters, take note that three trophies, namely \u201cNow the Real Fight Begins!\u201d,&nbsp;\u201cHot Enough for You?\u201d and \u201cPlatinum Sky\u201d will be unobtainable once downscaling has been completed, due to the removal of their associated&nbsp;features.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While it is sad to see the removal&nbsp;of&nbsp;Granblue&nbsp;Fantasy Versus\u2019 most&nbsp;important features, this downscaling is&nbsp;likely so&nbsp;that the&nbsp;devs&nbsp;at Arc System Works can focus their efforts on its sequel,&nbsp;Granblue&nbsp;Fantasy Versus: Rising.
