Stellar Blade and NIKKE developer Shift Up<\/strong> donated 5 million won\u2019s worth of blankets to South Korean families in need on January 15, as reported by GameMeca<\/a>. This comes as part of a local campaign to support vulnerable communities during the winter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Shift Up spokesperson interviewed by Korean media described the act as a \u201coffering small helping hand\u201d and stated that the company intends to stay committed to fulfilling its social responsibilities, with other similar activities planned. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Shift Up often makes headlines for its generous gifts to employees<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 like distributing free PS5 Pros, Apple\u00a0Watches\u00a0and cash to all staff members \u2013 the developer has also been\u00a0making\u00a0significant\u00a0social contributions in the background. For example,\u00a0GameMeca\u00a0reports that in 2023\u00a0(before Shift Up was big enough to become a publicly traded company),\u00a0the company\u00a0donated 230 million won to the Korean Red Cross, as well as\u00a0$100,000 USD to international\u00a0disaster relief\u00a0following the devastating earthquake in\u00a0Turkey. Additionally, CEO Hyung-Tae Kim donated 100 million won from his personal funds\u00a0for the same\u00a0cause.\u00a0During 2024, Shift Up also distributed food to\u00a0local\u00a0families in need\u00a0during Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving), and employees\u00a0participated\u00a0in volunteer programs.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
