Not only was she nominated for \u201cBest Performance\u201d at The Game Awards 2025, but she also became an overnight YouTube legend, attracting millions of viewers with her extremely chaotic live playthroughs of Silent Hill f.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"SILENT HILL f #1 \u52a0\u85e4\u5c0f\u590f\" width=\"1160\" height=\"653\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0Ek5c3sQygs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Talking to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespark.jp\/article\/2025\/12\/08\/160295.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Game*Spark<\/a> in a recent interview, Kato says that after her first stream (which has now been viewed over 5 million times) she \u201cseriously thought it would end with an apology press conference.\u201d However, her expectations were positively betrayed by the positive response she received. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For context, after creating <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@hinako-is-konatsu-kato\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a channel<\/a> very dryly named \u201cThe person from Silent Hill f plays the game,\u201d&nbsp;Kato dove into the game as a complete beginner to both livestreaming and gaming, on a rented PS5 she had never touched in her life. This made for a clumsy yet incredibly charming stream, as the actress struggled to find the DualSense\u2019s touch pad from right under her nose and unintentionally threw the funniest shade at both Sony and Konami\u2019s design choices. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At one point, she accidentally referred to the tens of thousands of viewers in her stream as \u201cmy affirmative bots\u201d (something she uses as an affectionate term privately) and started apologizing profusely after realizing the implications of it when said online. Far from being offended, the people loved it, and went \u201cYou know what, yes, we <em>are<\/em> your bots,\u201d which soon got established as something of a meme in the Japanese side of the fandom. She also severely underestimated the scope of modern games, assuming that she\u2019d finished one full playthrough of Silent Hill f after finishing the game\u2019s first chapter (Ebisugaoka).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1141\" height=\"809\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1141px) 100vw, 1141px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20251211-54832-001.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-54839\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20251211-54832-001.jpg 1141w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20251211-54832-001-380x269.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20251211-54832-001-768x545.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>But despite her struggles to read a map and figure out Silent Hill f\u2019s puzzles, Kato showed really fast growth \u2013 especially when it came to beating down enemies with her beloved iron pipe and&nbsp;dodging&nbsp;attacks. Getting to see this improvement in real-time is probably part of what has made her streams so popular, next to her extremely screenshot-worthy facial expressions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thankfully, the actress sems happy she decided to stream Silent Hill f, though she tells Game*Spark that she originally didn\u2019t intend for it to become quite so big. &#8220;So many people accepted me positively \u2013 I feel saved by the world.
