As reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespark.jp\/article\/2025\/12\/08\/160291.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Game*Spark<\/a>, the Steam store page \u201cdisappeared\u201d around 10 days before the game\u2019s scheduled launch date. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brown Dust 2 is a 2D \u201cfull burst\u201d turn-based RPG, originally released for mobile in 2023. With its 2.5th anniversary right around the corner, the game was planned to come to PC via Steam on December 15. The PC port of the game seemed to be in high demand, given that its number of Steam Wishlists reached 200,000 on December 4. However, only a couple days later, players started reporting that they couldn\u2019t find the game on the platform anymore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\ud83c\udf89 200,000 Steam wishlists reached! \ud83c\udf89<br><br>Thanks to your incredible support, we\u2019ve hit our final goal of 200K wishlists! (We\u2019re honestly moved \ud83d\ude2d)<br><br>\ud83c\udf81 Extra rewards for 200K:<br>\ud83d\udc8e 1K Diamonds<br>\u2728 200K Refining Powder<br>(+ All rewards from 100K and below will also be given!)<br><br>All rewards\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/RhmjMdUW7i\">pic.twitter.com\/RhmjMdUW7i<\/a><\/p>&mdash; BrownDust2 Official (@BROWNDUST2_EN) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BROWNDUST2_EN\/status\/1996511089350357404?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 4, 2025<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Referring to the issue as a \u201ctemporary restriction\u201d via an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.browndust2.com\/en-us\/news\/view?id=9511\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">official announcement<\/a>, the publisher says it\u2019s \u201cin communication with Steam and is working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.\u201d At the time of writing, the Steam page still remains delisted, and it is yet to be seen if this will have any impact on the game\u2019s release date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Steam delistings have become much more frequent after the <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/steam-rules-updated-to-prohibit-content-that-violates-rules-set-forth-by-payment-processors-and-banks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">revision of the platform\u2019s guidelines<\/a> this summer, and many games featuring \u201cadult content\u201d have been unsuccessful in returning to the platform in their original forms (or, at all). As listed on Brown Dust 2\u2019s official website, the game is rated PEGI 18, with warnings for sexual content and in-game purchases. While there hasn\u2019t been any official explanation, it is likely that the game was removed from the platform due to its suggestive content. The game also might have been removed due to the developers&#8217; attempt to boost Wishlists via a reward system, which is something Valve <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/blue-archive-terminates-event-suspected-of-violating-steam-policies-apologizes-for-inconvenience\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">wouldn&#8217;t be so happy about<\/a>.  Given that Valve\u2019s review process can be <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/no-word-from-steam-nekopara-publishers-publicly-count-how-many-days-theyve-been-waiting-for-valves-response-as-game-gets-delayed-for-weeks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">rather slow<\/a>, there is a possibility that NEOWIZ won\u2019t be able to get the game\u2019s Steam page up in time for the scheduled launch.
