Aptly titled <strong>Japan Stigmatized Property 2<\/strong>, the new title inherits the original\u2019s gameplay loop of monitoring security camera footage and reporting any anomalies you find.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1681\" height=\"922\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1681px) 100vw, 1681px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20251202-54505-001.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-54508\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20251202-54505-001.jpg 1681w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20251202-54505-001-380x208.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20251202-54505-001-768x421.jpg 768w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20251202-54505-001-1536x842.jpg 1536w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>As with the first game, Japan Stigmatized Property 2 puts you in the shoes of a surveillance officer. Four new real-life properties (levels) will have you switching between regular camera footage and night vision to scour every dark corner for randomized anomalies. These come in the form of moving furniture, disappearing or reappearing objects, malevolent spirits, and the like. Several scares are based on Japanese urban legends, giving the game a unique feel. While most of these scares are created by the developers, some phenomena include AI-generated content, according to the game\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/4193270\/2_Japan_Stigmatized_Property\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Steam store page<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spot enough anomalies and maintain surveillance until 5 a.m., and you will complete a level. Fail to spot enough of them or call out too many false reports, and you will lose the level instead. A second property, Hotel C\u00e9line, is a closed-down accommodation facility that the agency you work for has tasked you to survey.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While Japan Stigmatized Property currently has a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/3809110\/Japan_Stigmatized_Property\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mostly Positive<\/a>\u201d rating on Steam, the title gained attention in Japan thanks to&nbsp;streams and gameplay videos by local content creators. Though its sequel doesn\u2019t seem to deviate too far from the source material, the idea of exploring real-life haunted areas in Japan is enough to get anyone\u2019s spine tingling.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Japan Stigmatized Property 2 is currently in development for PC (<a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/4193270\/2_Japan_Stigmatized_Property\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Steam<\/a>).
