However, after a three-month wait and an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/XSEEDGames\/status\/1979246137526677619?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">unexpected complication<\/a>, the Western release of Corpse Party Tetralogy Pack\u2019s Switch version has been&nbsp;officially&nbsp;cancelled.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"zxx\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/TgBHTum69l\">pic.twitter.com\/TgBHTum69l<\/a><\/p>&mdash; XSEED Games (@XSEEDGames) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/XSEEDGames\/status\/1989513737183584389?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 15, 2025<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>According&nbsp;to XSEED Games\u2019 official statement,&nbsp;the reason for the cancellation&nbsp;is that several games in the compilation \u201cdid not comply with current platform guidelines.\u201d&nbsp;Since Corpse Party (2021) and Corpse Party: Blood Drive are already on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendo.com\/us\/search\/?srsltid=AfmBOoqqbpEXS4hudsK-kcMEwXB0m1LS-WsU2RpbLJlV0xi84gjHLGDL&amp;slug=corpse-party-switch#q=corpse+party&amp;p=1&amp;cat=all&amp;sort=df\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">US Nintendo Store<\/a>, it\u2019s likely that the contents of&nbsp;Corpse Party: Book of Shadows&nbsp;and\/or&nbsp;Corpse Party: Sweet Sachiko\u2019s Hysteric Birthday Bash&nbsp;(the two remaining games included in&nbsp;Corpse Party Tetralogy Pack) were&nbsp;the cause of the complications and&nbsp;subsequent&nbsp;cancellation.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Corpse Party\u2019s subject matter&nbsp;doesn\u2019t&nbsp;make it easy&nbsp;to peddle on the Nintendo Switch.&nbsp;The original game focuses on a group of high school students who are transported to the dark and haunted Heavenly Host Elementary School after performing a friendship charm ritual.&nbsp;Trapped&nbsp;in a school filled with murderous&nbsp;spirits, the friends must face the school\u2019s horrors, as well as each other.
