While numerous game, anime, and manga franchises are to be featured at this Winter\u2019s Comiket 107 through doujinshi and <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/20230816-20741\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cosplay<\/a>, the most dominant source material for fan-made content seem to be Nexon\u2019s gacha TRPG Blue Archive, and VTubers. They\u2019re continents.<\/em>\u00a0<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>While Azur Lane, Umamusume, and TYPE-MOON fanmade works are majorly popular as well, there is no denying the massive appeal of Blue Archive and VTubers.\u00a0Although it hails from South Korea, Blue Archive was consciously designed to appeal to Japanese players and fans of otaku content, which is likely why Japan now accounts for <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/blue-archive-earns-over-70-percent-of-its-revenue-from-japan-but-whos-playing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">more than 70% of the game\u2019s revenue<\/a>. On the other hand, the popularity of VTubers is mostly domestic, with talents from major agencies like hololive and Nijisanji growing influential enough to make or break the games they stream. As of lately, the popularity of VTubers has grown beyond the streaming scene, with talents like Usada Pekora <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/death-stranding-2s-kojima-related-easter-eggs-were-all-self-inserted-because-his-team-refused-to-humor-him\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">being featured in Hideo Kojima\u2019s Death Stranding 2<\/a>.
