Following The First Descendant<\/strong>\u2019s string of season 3 updates, which include the new hover bike and lounge elements, players are excited to see what else Nexon Games has planned for the looter shooter. Rather than adding more non-combat content, the developers want to build upon what the game already has.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking to AUTOMATON Japan<\/a>, director Minseok Joo revealed that the current plan for near-future updates is to enchance new elements like the hover bike and lounge. One of The First Descendant\u2019s recent updates added collision to the hover bike, allowing players to hit enemies and push them back. Joo says that it\u2019s updates like these that prove that Nexon isn\u2019t just \u201cadding new content and calling it a day,\u201d but further enhancing them to create a better player experience.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The recently added Axion Plains map will also be getting more content to increase gameplay activity density. Existing areas, such as dungeons, will serve as the setting for activities like special events. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This doesn\u2019t mean The First Descendant will not have new content. Update 1.3.6, which was released on October 1, added new sword melee weapons that further deepen the game\u2019s combat and build potential. Likewise, the new Pioneer Module and One-to-One Trading updates, which are scheduled for November, are supposed to bring \u201cvery significant changes\u201d to the game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The First Descendant is free-to-play on PlayStation 4 and 5<\/a>, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S<\/a>, and Windows (Steam<\/a>). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
