Ryuki Ishii<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Publisher Microids released a teaser trailer for the videogame adaptation of <em><strong>UFO Robot Grendizer<\/strong><\/em> and announced that it will be released in 2023 for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is an action game based on the 70&#8217;s hit anime adapted from Go Nagai\u2019s manga series. &nbsp;Microids announced in February this year that they had acquired the license to make a videogame based on this IP.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Teaser Goldorak \/ Goldrake \/ Grendizer Video Game | Microids &amp; Endroad\" width=\"1160\" height=\"653\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/q1vlIYOtlFQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The anime version of <em>UFO Robo Grendizer<\/em> aired in the 70&#8217;s as part of the <em>Mazinger<\/em> series. The protagonist, Daisuke Umon (Duke Fleed), boards the Grendizer and fights against King Vega and his armies of flying saucers and robotic monsters, who seek to conquer the entire universe. The anime became a hit series not only in Japan, but also in countries such as Italy and France at the time. There is no word yet on what the game will be like, but let\u2019s hope it\u2019ll utilize Grendizer\u2019s signature moves such as Screw Crusher Punch and Double Harken. Judging from one of the screenshots, it appears that Grendizer can fly in the flying saucer form as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Colomban Cic\u00e9ron, game director and co-founder of Endroad, made the following comment:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#efefef\">\u201cWe have been working fervently on the Grendizer project, aiming at the highest quality to please the fans and the newcomers alike that didn\u2019t get the chance to be introduced to Duke Fleed (Daisuke Umon in Japan) and his friends. We are all fans of this IP we grew up with and we\u2019re fully dedicated in providing players the game they\u2019ve been dreaming about for decades.
