Given the popularity of recent live-action adaptations such as One Piece<\/a> and Yu Yu Hakusho<\/a>, it\u2019s no surprise that Japanese anime fans want more of their favorite shows to be translated into real life. While several popular anime have already been adapted, some have yet to receive the live-action treatment.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A survey conducted by Japanese magazine Josei Jishin<\/a> targeting 500 men and women in their 20s-60s revealed the most popular picks for a future live-action adaptations. Here are the top 10:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Slam Dunk\u00a0
2. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba\u00a0
3. Doraemon\u00a0
4. Crayon Shin-chan \/ Dr. Slump (the two titles were tied for the no. 4 spot)\u00a0
5. The Apothecary Diaries\u00a0
6. Captain Tsubasa\u00a07. Spy x Family\u00a0
8. Haikyuu!!\u00a0
9. Jujutsu Kaisen\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When it comes to fantastical anime such as Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba<\/a>, surveyed fans are eager to see how elements such as the sense of speed and power would translate into a live action adaptation. Likewise, they also want to see Doraemon\u2019s penchant for pulling gadgets out of his seemingly bottomless pocket carry over to the medium.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Surprisingly, the majority of the titles on the top 10 list (including the number one spot) are rooted in realism. Considering anime like Slam Dunk<\/a>, Apothecary Diaries<\/a>, and Spy x Family<\/a> have as many dialogue-heavy scenes as they do action scenes, it seems fans are just as eager to see the on-screen chemistry between the characters and the actors portraying them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
