A look at key staff, cast and production companies\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>With Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice being a <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/fromsoftware-has-no-plans-for-elden-ring-2-but-they-have-several-new-titles-in-the-works-according-to-miyazaki\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">FromSoftware-developed title<\/a> set in the late Sengoku period and inspired by Japanese folklore, it only makes sense that the game\u2019s upcoming anime adaptation, <strong>Sekiro: No Defeat<\/strong>, is being made by a\u00a0Japanese production company and animation studio.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Sekiro: No Defeat | Official Trailer | Crunchyroll\" width=\"1160\" height=\"653\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/IRjuAemfaQE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Sekiro: No Defeat is being produced by ARCH and animated by Qzil.la, two companies with several anime under their belts. <a href=\"https:\/\/archinc.jp\/ja\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ARCH<\/a>, founded by former Bandai Namco and Production IG producer Nao Hirasawa, has worked on titles like Promare, Tribe Nine, The Journey, and Monster Strike films. ARCH was also involved in<em> <\/em>2022\u2019s<em> <\/em>The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbyes, and the gacha game Azur Lane.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Qzil.la, headed by Production IG&#8217;s Shun Fukudome, is known for Enter The Garden, Kuromi&#8217;s Pretty Journey, and the ending theme of Chainsaw Man episode 11. Following the announcement of their involvement in Sekiro: No Defeat, some people have drawn attention to Qzil.la&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/qzil.la\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">self-reported<\/a> use of AI to improve anime production.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\u300e\u30c1\u30a7\u30f3\u30bd\u30fc\u30de\u30f3\u300f\u7b2c\uff11\uff11\u8a71\u30ce\u30f3\u30af\u30ec\u30b8\u30c3\u30c8\u30a8\u30f3\u30c7\u30a3\u30f3\u30b0 \/ CHAINSAW MAN #11 Ending\u2502\u5973\u738b\u8702\u300c\u30d0\u30a4\u30aa\u30ec\u30f3\u30b9\u300d\" width=\"1160\" height=\"653\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/UTwujrP2pFo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand Sekiro: No Defeat is reportedly set to feature full, hand-drawn 2D animation that focuses on the lives of the game\u2019s characters as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/20231129-23463\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the conflicts they face<\/a>. Kenichi Kutsuna &#8211; a key animator who worked on popular anime such as Naruto: Shippuden, Bleach, and One Punch Man &#8211; will be directing the anime.
