I was also somewhat involved with the title in 10th place. There\u2019s nothing more joyful than knowing that my past work continues to linger in the hearts of those who played it, even after all these years.<\/em>\u00a0<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In response to a local Japan survey conducted by <a href=\"https:\/\/news.denfaminicogamer.jp\/kikakuthetower\/2508153a\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Denfaminicogamer<\/a> on which RPGs made players cry the most, Nojima was delighted that four of the games he worked on made the top 40 list. These include the top 1 and 2 spots (<a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/final-fantasy-x-square-enix-gets-people-hyped-all-over-again\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Final Fantasy X<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/interviews\/20230408-18349\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII<\/a> respectively), as well as the titles in the 24<sup>th<\/sup> (Final Fantasy VII) and 33<sup>rd<\/sup> (Kingdom Hearts II) places. Nojima also provided the original story outline for Final Fantasy XV, which took 10<sup>th<\/sup> place.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Though Nojima left Square Enix in 2003 to found Stellavista \u2013 a freelance scenario company \u2013 he is regularly brought on board by his former employers to write for new projects. His most recent work for Square Enix was <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/20231107-22852\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth<\/a>, which he joined as lead scenario writer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\u300c\u4e00\u756a\u6ce3\u3051\u308bRPG\u300d\u30e9\u30f3\u30ad\u30f3\u30b0TOP10\uff01\" width=\"1160\" height=\"653\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/uEmqn3SKBGQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>With over 4,700 participants in the Denfaminicogamer survey, it\u2019s quite refreshing to see a mix of old and new games in the tear-jerking RPG list.
