The iconic flesh-colored cryptobiote is made by mixing coffee powder and red food coloring with the base. A bright yellow cryptobiote contains Vegemite and yellow food coloring. A very green cryptobiote requires mixing green juice powder and yellow food coloring. Cryptobiotes are essentially worms with legs, so build smaller circles around sticks of fried hiyamugi noodles to create the appendages. Making an edible cryptobiote is more about presentation than taste, so make sure each segment is as round as possible. Finally, coat your creation in melted agar jelly to make it shine. While PlayStation presents its cryptobiotes in a makeshift bonsai tree, you don\u2019t have to get too creative if you plan on eating yours right away.
