The game follows a \u201cheartwarming\u201d slice-of-life story in which you start living together with stray cat-girl Okayu after she sneaks into your house one day. It\u2019s rated CERO C (ages 15+ and up), with Steam store page warnings for \u201cSome Nudity or Sexual Content, General Mature Content.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Japanese version of Okayunyumu! released on PlayStation, Switch and PC (physical) in February 2025, with the English and Japanese Steam versions scheduled for August 7. However, Entergram has postponed the release date, citing \u201cvarious circumstances\u201d as the reason. Notably, the Switch edition\u2019s physical release, which is also set for August 7, has not been delayed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\u3010MV\u3011\u307e\u305f\u3001\u304a\u304b\u3048\u308a\u3002\uff0f\u732b\u53c8\u304a\u304b\u3086\u3000\u30ce\u30d9\u30eb\u30b2\u30fc\u30e0\u300e\u304a\u304b\u3086\u306b\u3085\uff5e\uff5e\u3080\uff01\u300fOP\u30c6\u30fc\u30de\" width=\"1160\" height=\"653\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/kFH-KEZGYRk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Although Entergram didn\u2019t provide details, possible reasons could include unresolved bugs, or pending approval from Steam. Recently, payment processors and other third parties <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/steam-rules-updated-to-prohibit-content-that-violates-rules-set-forth-by-payment-processors-and-banks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">have indirectly influenced content restrictions on Steam<\/a>, leading some Japanese fans to speculate that this may be a factor. Not long ago, the visual novel Nekopara After had its Steam release <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/no-word-from-steam-nekopara-publishers-publicly-count-how-many-days-theyve-been-waiting-for-valves-response-as-game-gets-delayed-for-weeks\/#comments\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">delayed by over 40 days<\/a> due to a dragged-out screening process by Valve. Since Entergram is calling this a postponement rather than a cancellation, it appears they still intend to release Okayunyamu! once the issues are resolved.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entergram says it will announce a new launch date for Okayunyamu!\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/3625380\/Okayunyumu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Steam version<\/a> as soon as it\u2019s decided.
