Mid-year earnings totaled KRW 1.5362 trillion in revenue (roughly $1 billion USD) and an operating profit of KRW 703.3 billion ($506 million USD), setting a new record for the company. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to an <a href=\"https:\/\/press.krafton.com\/KRAFTON-ACHIEVE-RECORD-HIGH-REVENUE-IN-THE-FIRST-HALF-OF-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">official press release from Krafton<\/a>, the majority of the company\u2019s revenue came from its mobile game division (around $692 million USD), followed by its PC division (around $391 million USD). Console and other platforms net the company roughly $23.7 million USD in revenue.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"BGMI x Superman | Look Up\" width=\"1160\" height=\"653\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/bO3VEc06xks?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Krafton\u2019s mobile business saw the highest revenue from games like Battlegrounds Mobile India, whose marketing and collaboration efforts with popular Indian brands drew in a large number of players. Outside of Battlegrounds Mobile India, Krafton-published titles with cosmetic content have proved to be lucrative.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PC revenue growth was largely attributed to PUBG: Battlegrounds, whose recent Contender character system and live service updates incentivize players to spend more time and money on the game.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Given PUBG: Battlegrounds\u2019 success on mobile and PC platforms, Krafton is looking to do more in-game collaborations with popular brands. An upcoming collaboration with Bugatti is in the works, as is another one with K-pop group aespa. PUBG: BLINDSPOT is also set to debut at Gamescom 2025 as a top-down shooter for PC.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1340\" height=\"756\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1340px) 100vw, 1340px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/20250804-50708-001.jpg\" alt=\"inZOI\" class=\"wp-image-50712\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/20250804-50708-001.jpg 1340w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/20250804-50708-001-380x214.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/20250804-50708-001-768x433.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Krafton will continue its quest to develop and publish new IPs, as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/tango-gameworks-resumes-full-scale-operations-under-krafton-opening-new-office-in-tokyo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">expand its reach in games<\/a> and other industries. It recently acquired Eleventh Hour Games, a US indie studio known for the top-down action RPG Last Epoch. Krafton also acquired Korean company Neptune and the Japan-based ADK Group in April and July respectively. Both companies specialize in advertising, while Neptune dabbles in mobile gaming and <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/krafton-to-acquire-major-japanese-company-behind-over-300-anime-titles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ADK Group was involved in the production and promotion of over 300 anime titles<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lastly, Krafton will invest more heavily in game-related AI.
