Due to his large following, his posts seem to have inadvertently fueled the outrage regarding Wilds\u2019 poor optimization in Japanese internet spaces. But after\u00a0taking his PC in for repairs, he discovered the reason for his PC troubles was an abnormally high wattage setting in the BIOS. At the same time, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/w1d7ukDL6vesSfI\/status\/1949830374902677912\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">some commenters<\/a> think M Hashi hasn\u2019t done anything warranting an apology.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\u73fe\u5728\u3001\u304a\u9a12\u304c\u305b\u3057\u3066\u3044\u308b\u4ef6\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066\" width=\"1160\" height=\"653\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4PcGuaLPFhc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Like many players, M Hashi has experienced several crashes and performance issues when playing the PC version of Monster Hunter Wilds. In an effort to improve the game\u2019s performance, M Hashi downloaded a BIOS update online that adjusted his PC\u2019s settings. Though this temporarily solved his crashing and frame rate issues, succeeding Monster Hunter Wilds patches (particularly <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/monster-hunter-wilds-is-losing-players-faster-than-predecessors-but-upcoming-content-update-may-be-what-puts-it-back-on-track\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Free Update 2<\/a>) caused the problems to return, with M Hashi\u2019s PC eventually breaking down. When he brought his computer in for repairs, it was discovered that his PC\u2019s power limits were set to around 460 watts, causing extreme temperature spikes. M Hashi has since lowered the wattage, allowing him to play Monster Hunter Wilds more safely.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>M Hashi uses an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090, an Intel CORE i9-13900KF CPU, and an ROG Strix Z690-A Gaming WiFi D4 motherboard. He initially thought that his problems were caused by his Intel CPU (a CPU he says many people call \u201ca time bomb\u201d). While Intel\u2019s CPUs aren\u2019t held in high regard, downloading BIOS updates from unreliable sources could lead to more problems.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1275\" height=\"713\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1275px) 100vw, 1275px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20250729-50507-001.jpg\" alt=\"Monster Hunter Wilds\" class=\"wp-image-50510\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20250729-50507-001.jpg 1275w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20250729-50507-001-380x213.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20250729-50507-001-768x429.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Although the majority of M Hashi\u2019s problems appear to have been caused by his BIOS and CPU, he and <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/hisame_nd\/status\/1950002007273509175\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">other Monster Hunter Wilds players<\/a> are taking this opportunity to voice their concerns regarding the PC version\u2019s poor optimization. M Hashi had the service person who repaired his PC check its performance while running Monster Hunter Wilds. Based on the test, his Intel i9 CPU\u2019s temperature was surprisingly high, which is one of the reasons why Monster Hunter Wilds ran so poorly for him. It should also be noted that M Hashi experienced no problems playing games other than Monster Hunter Wilds.\u00a0He commented that while Wilds isn&#8217;t to blame, it was part of what triggered his PC issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regardless of his frustrations with Monster Hunter Wilds, M Hashi tells viewers not to harass or threaten the game\u2019s developers. <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/moral-conduct-of-gamers-hasnt-kept-up-with-the-times-monster-hunter-wilds-criticism-escalates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Instances of verbal abuse and even death threats<\/a> directed at the developers have prompted Capcom to <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/capcom-cancels-lecture-about-monster-hunter-wilds-optimization-as-devs-face-threats-and-harassment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cancel one of its dev lectures<\/a> and announce that it will take legal action against those who violate its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.capcom.co.jp\/support\/faq\/information_info2025_0266919.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Anti-Customer Harassment Policy<\/a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Although Monster Hunter Wilds&#8217; optimization issues acted as a trigger, a BIOS update from an unreliable source seems to be the root cause.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":67,"featured_media":50509,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_gspb_post_css":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[3],"tags":[17],"class_list":["post-50507","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news","tag-japan-related-news"],"blocksy_meta":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
