Capcom recently announced the winners of the second contest, but upon further inspection and numerous inquiries, they judged that one of the winning entries violated contest rules and should be disqualified as a result.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We want to extend a big thanks to everyone who participated in the latest Street Fighter Art Contest New Challenger Edition. <br><br>Unfortunately, we have determined that one of the winning entries violated contest rules, specifically Section 5 pertaining to: Entry Submission and\u2026<\/p>&mdash; Street Fighter (@StreetFighter) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/StreetFighter\/status\/1948541275298320551?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 25, 2025<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>While the Street Fighter X account didn\u2019t specify which entry was disqualified,\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/hoodratt20xx\/status\/1947785136571134006\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">investigations<\/a> regarding the <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Galena_Bismon\/status\/1948190568057544952\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">authenticity of the winning Kimberly submission<\/a> by X user lilthascends (who has suddenly disappeared from the platform) were conducted by fans after the winners were announced. Not only was the lilithascends account created in June 2025 (the month the contest began), but the art piece itself features inconsistencies, irregular shapes and connecting lines pointing to AI use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1195\" height=\"672\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1195px) 100vw, 1195px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20250725-50415-001.jpg\" alt=\"Street Fighter 6 art contest plagiarized Akuma art\" class=\"wp-image-50419\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20250725-50415-001.jpg 1195w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20250725-50415-001-380x214.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20250725-50415-001-768x432.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lilithascends\u2019s other entries, one for <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/just-who-is-street-fighters-akuma\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Akuma<\/a> and another for Cammy, appear to have plagiarized the works of other artists. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.artstation.com\/artwork\/m0meE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Chun Lo\u2019s \u201cThe Wolf\u201d piece<\/a> on ArtStation was edited and combined with <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/click_burgundy\/status\/1789098100977807572\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hungry Clicker\u2019s Akuma artwork<\/a> for the first piece, while the Cammy piece looks like a blatant copy of <a href=\"https:\/\/pin.it\/dBV5kPqZk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">an Android 18 art piece<\/a> (which may have been AI-generated too). The different art styles of all three pieces are a strong indication, but X user hoodrat has made a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/StreetFighter\/comments\/1m7bs8c\/one_of_the_winning_entries_for_the_new\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">detailed investigation<\/a> for those who want a thorough breakdown of lilithascends\u2019s art.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1348\" height=\"757\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1348px) 100vw, 1348px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20250725-50415-002.jpg\" alt=\"Street Fighter 6 art contest plagiarized Cammy art\" class=\"wp-image-50421\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20250725-50415-002.jpg 1348w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20250725-50415-002-380x213.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20250725-50415-002-768x431.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding the Entry Submission and Design Requirements violation mentioned by the Street Fighter X account, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.streetfighter.com\/6\/contents\/2ndanniv_contest\/en-us\/#flow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">contest rules<\/a> state that the design must be the entrant\u2019s original creative work. The use of generative AI is also prohibited. As Lilithascends appears to have broken these rules, their winning Kimberly entry has effectively been voided.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately, voting in Street Fighter 6\u2019s Battle Hub has already begun. While the disqualified entry will remain in the polls until voting has ended, a replacement illustration will be added at a later date. This may confuse those who are unaware of the disqualified entry, so please spread the word to other players.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regardless, all 26 winning entries (save for the disqualified submission) will be gifted to players as challenger screen illustrations.
