Rarely, if ever, do you think of free-to-play gacha games like <strong>Zenless Zone Zero<\/strong>. One fan of <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/zenless-zone-zero-hits-50-million-downloads-worldwide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mihoyo\u2019s popular action RPG<\/a> took it upon herself to up the game\u2019s difficulty by creating a custom controller made entirely from US coins, specifically quarters.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Playing ZZZ with only coins right now. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/pcScboPBDP\">pic.twitter.com\/pcScboPBDP<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Daily Trigger \u26a0\ufe0f (@_dailytrigger) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/_dailytrigger\/status\/1947148107743199452?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 21, 2025<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>By connecting one wire and quarter each to specific keyboard keys, mouse clicks, and movements, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/_dailytrigger\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">X user Daily Trigger<\/a> can control up to a full team of Agents during the game\u2019s hack-and-slash action sequences. The idea for a coin controller came about when <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/_dailytrigger\/status\/1947179075606622531\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Daily Trigger found Zenless Zone Zero\u2019s regular combat to be too easy<\/a>. While some people raised concerns about the possibility of the coin controller electrifying the user, Daily Trigger assures everyone that it is <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/_dailytrigger\/status\/1947160630588592149\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">completely safe<\/a> (at least for her).\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With coin controller in hand, it looks like Daily Trigger\u2019s next challenge will be to <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/_dailytrigger\/status\/1947158642614292921\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">play with it blindfolded<\/a>. As her namesake implies, Daily Trigger is a big fan of Trigger, a blind sniper who uses her unique \u201cEther Vision\u201d in conjunction with her remaining senses to locate and dispatch enemies.
