Dragami Games announced on July 24 that it will be collaborating with Taiwan-based investment company Nada Holdings to produce a brand-new Lollipop Chainsaw<\/strong> game. The zombie-themed cult-classic will also be getting an anime adaptation. This comes after the two companies\u2019 initial partnership announcement<\/a> on July 17.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grasshopper Manufacture\u2019s hack-and-slash action game Lollipop Chainsaw and its 2024 remastered version Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP have sold over 1.5 million units to date. To capitalize on the IP\u2019s potential, publisher Dragami Games decided to launch these new projects, enlisting the help of Nada Holdings \u2013 a company with a track record in IP expansion through anime production and game publishing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the announcement, development of the new Lollipop Chainsaw game is already underway, with Nada Holdings bringing back some of the original staff from the 2012 title. While details about the new entry remain under wraps for now, the two companies emphasize that their top priority is preserving the spirit and appeal of the original, while listening to fan feedback. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They also state that the new entry will be rich in dark humor much like its predecessor. In line with this attitude, the team aims to \u201crelease the game without \u201cDEI censorship.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In conjunction with the announcement, an official X account for the new Lollipop Chainsaw project has been launched. Fans can follow updates on development and other project-related news on @lpchainsaw_en<\/a> and @lpchainsaw_jp<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
