The devs wanted a chance to add things they missed out on"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Koei Tecmo recently announced that <strong>Atelier Ryza Secret Trilogy Deluxe Pack<\/strong> will be coming to major platforms in 2025, as a digital release only. In a recent interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.4gamer.net\/games\/841\/G084183\/20250713002\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">4Gamer<\/a>, Atelier series producer Junzo Hosoi teased the upcoming deluxe re-release of the Secret trilogy, stating that it will take on a slightly different direction compared to the previous Trilogy Deluxe packs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Atelier Ryza Secret Trilogy Deluxe pack - Teaser Trailer\" width=\"1160\" height=\"653\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Xl1f4aYkfSU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Interestingly, Hosoi explained that Koei Tecmo actually didn\u2019t see the need to release the Ryza series Deluxe Pack from a commercial point of view \u2013 especially given that the three featured games \u2013 Ever Darkness &amp; The Secret Hideout, Lost Legends &amp; the Secret Fairy, and Alchemist of the End &amp; the Secret Key \u2013 have been selling really well. So much so that &nbsp;that they would probably continue to perform well even without a new bundled re-release. Apparently, the need for a new deluxe release actually stems from the development team\u2019s motivation to flesh out the characters even further and unveil more of the story through things they didn\u2019t have the chance to include when the games were originally launched.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Secret series is thankfully selling well even now, and to be completely honest, I think it would continue doing well even if we didn\u2019t release a deluxe pack version. However, as a team, we really wanted to make the parts of the story that we couldn\u2019t depict in the original series, and we also wanted to add more depth to the characters. That is why we decided to give this Trilogy Deluxe Pack a slightly different twist compared to the previous ones.\u201d &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"960\" height=\"540\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20250717-501740001.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-50176\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20250717-501740001.jpg 960w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20250717-501740001-380x214.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20250717-501740001-768x432.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Judging by Hosoi\u2019s comments, it seems like the Secret Trilogy Deluxe Pack will not be completely following in the footsteps of, say, the Dusk Trilogy or Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Packs \u2013 the main difference being the amount of new content. Rather than just the mainline games bundled up with past DLCs, Hosoi says that the Ryza Deluxe Pack will feature brand-new elements.
