The anime in question is an adaptation of the adult visual novel game Nukitashi.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Produced by Kadokawa and Studio Passione (the animation studio behind the fantasy sex comedy \u201cInterspecies Reviewers\u201d), Nukitashi the Animation is set to start airing on July 18, 2025. Ahead of the premiere, the anime\u2019s official X account published an official list of stations and airing times. Given the story\u2019s adult themes (more on that further below), most TV stations will be broadcasting Nukitashi\u2019s censored version (with the exception of AT-X, a station known for airing violent and\/or suggestive anime without censorship). The game follows a brother and sister who end up on Seiran \u2013 a sex-obsessed tropical island where residents engage in public heterosexual intercourse with everyone and anyone. Refusing to participate is prohibited by a weird police-state-like ordinance, and the brother and sister fight to dismantle the system by forming the anti-copulation resistance organization \u201cNLNS.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1277\" height=\"719\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1277px) 100vw, 1277px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20250714-50078-001.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-50082\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20250714-50078-001.jpg 1277w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20250714-50078-001-380x214.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20250714-50078-001-768x432.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>At the time of writing, Nukitashi is <a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/2399220\/NUKITASHI\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam<\/a> with over 2,000 user reviews. But given the premise, it\u2019s not hard to imagine why the game\u2019s anime adaptation will be censored on most Japanese TV stations and reduced to nothing but audio on Tokyo MX.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nukitashi the Animation starts airing starting July 18, 2025.
