While some actors worked tirelessly to bring the game\u2019s characters to life, others barely had to lift a finger.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maxence Cazorla &#8211; the motion capture actor for Gustave, Verso, and Renoir, as well as the English voice of Esquie \u2013 just revealed the motion capture actor for Fran\u00e7ois. Esquie\u2019s next-door neighbor and \u201cfriend,\u201d Fran\u00e7ois is a turtle who supposedly holds one of the rocks that grants Esquie the ability to swim. Cazorla (who plays Gustave), Charlotte Hoepffner (Maelle\u2019s motion capture actor), and Estelle Darnault (Lune\u2019s motion capture actor) were able to keep their eyes focused on \u201cFran\u00e7ois\u201d for the entire scene thanks to the water bottle, thankfully before Hoepffner starts to break out into laughter.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1344\" height=\"753\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1344px) 100vw, 1344px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20250711-49963-001.jpg\" alt=\"Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Francois cutscene\" class=\"wp-image-49966\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20250711-49963-001.jpg 1344w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20250711-49963-001-380x213.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20250711-49963-001-768x430.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite not having a wide range of motions, Fran\u00e7ois is one of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33\u2019s most animated characters. This is thanks in no small part to <a href=\"https:\/\/linktr.ee\/richkeeble\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rich Keeble<\/a>, who also provides the voice of Monoco and some other characters in the game.
