After seeing an <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/diaxartdp\/status\/1791151633461805189\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">edited SML short<\/a>, user Christian64 responded with a remix sample that combines the recurring theme from Deltarune (first heard in the song \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/puOs1uy4t5M?si=sutDhcnBZNAzCqcb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Beginning<\/a>\u201d) with the SpongeBob SquarePants closing theme. The remix blew up on X, spawning several samples of the Deltarune theme mixed with other popular songs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"zxx\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/YiFqQgl9V9\">https:\/\/t.co\/YiFqQgl9V9<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/vpgh1zNGPa\">pic.twitter.com\/vpgh1zNGPa<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Christian64 (@Chris64_64) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Chris64_64\/status\/1940911735931916459?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 3, 2025<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>No song is safe from the remix treatment. Deltarune fans started incorporating popular video game music like <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Megane_0526\/status\/1941750746111996049\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fox\u2019s own Undertale tracks<\/a> and the themes of <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/the_nukino\/status\/1941418239445369069\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Crash Bandicoot<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/YosshiNekosshi\/status\/1941592713347932549\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mario Kart DS<\/a>. The remixes eventually started spreading to different music genres and eras, encompassing pop songs like One Direction\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/DonnieTheGuy\/status\/1941658171640078386\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">What Makes You Beautiful<\/a>\u201d and neo soul tracks like Tyler, the Creator\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/TheGeorgeflims\/status\/1942040925913354671\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Are We Still Friends<\/a>?,\u201d all the way to classics like A-ha\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/CallMeBy_Rafii\/status\/1941535577691783236\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Take On Me<\/a>\u201d and Earth, Wind &amp; Fire\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/smileysqueak\/status\/1941330496262373558\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">September<\/a>.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1148\" height=\"787\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1148px) 100vw, 1148px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20250707-49771-001.jpg\" alt=\"Deltarune\" class=\"wp-image-49774\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20250707-49771-001.jpg 1148w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20250707-49771-001-380x261.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20250707-49771-001-768x526.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Almost all of the tracks start normally before veering off into some form of the Deltarune theme. Because the theme is a string of simple notes, it isn\u2019t hard to modify any song to fit with <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/toby-fox-reveals-early-deltarune-concepts-that-show-how-much-of-the-game-was-already-conceived-10-years-ago\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kris, Susie, and Ralsei\u2019s anthem<\/a>. More samples are being added to the original post, so if you look hard enough, you can create a playlist of your favorite Deltarune theme mixes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deltarune Chapters 1-4 is now available for Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, PC (macOS and Windows), and PlayStation 4 and 5.
