The full game, in which you get to fight monsters and run amok as a butt-kicking superhero content creator, is set to release in 2025. To access the playtest and see what the game has to offer so far, you\u2019ll need to register for it on the game\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/3077640\/MIGHTREYA\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Steam page<\/a>. However, the developer encourages you to go ahead and explore the game, run wild, break stuff, and most importantly, share your thoughts and any glitches you might encounter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"960\" height=\"540\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/20250630-495520001.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-49555\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/20250630-495520001.jpg 960w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/20250630-495520001-380x214.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/20250630-495520001-768x432.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In a <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/interviews\/interview-former-devil-may-cry-developer-talks-about-their-new-action-game-mightreya\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">past interview<\/a> with Automaton West, Wazen told us that, while they\u2019re not working completely solo (as they commission other independent artists when needed), their mostly independent dev work was made possible due to the internet and social media. Mightreya\u2019s concept was also partly shaped based on the feedback of the English-speaking audience. Analyzing trends and participating in English-speaking spheres on social media, Wazen concluded that the English-speaking audience seems to be more interested in \u201cdeeper\u201d action games. That is one of the reasons why this title focuses on aerial combat as opposed to the conventional hand-to-hand combat on the ground, having much simpler controls that help you get straight into the action. As a logical next step, Wazen decided to start a MIGHTREYA Official Discord, where fans can directly send their feedback and suggestions of the playtest and interact with the developer in real time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Mightreya - Official Announcement Trailer\" width=\"1160\" height=\"653\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ex-mQL6H2Eo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Mightreya will have as many as 38 stages to be explored and 24 different enemy types to beat. As Wazen notes in the forementioned interview, the game\u2019s focus on aerial combat and vibrant anime-esque graphics are a step-up from their previous action-game, Assault Spy. Furthermore, the game\u2019s action mechanics also take inspiration from titles like Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner and the Devil May Cry series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MIGHTREYA is set to release in 2025 for the PC (Steam).
