Those who missed out on Monster Hunter Wilds<\/strong>\u2019 \u201cA Silent Flash\u201d Event Quest<\/a> will get another chance to farm the Arch-Tempered Rey Dau starting July 2 at 12 am UTC. As before, players must be Hunter Rank (HR) 50 or higher to take on the difficult quest in the Windward Plains. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The unique Rey Dau Certificate \u03b3 and monster materials you get from hunting the Arch-Tempered Rey Dau will allow you to create Rey Dau \u03b3 Hunter armor pieces and Felyne Rey Dau \u03b3 Palico armor pieces. These two armor sets not only have exceptional Thunder resistance, but have more decoration slots than the other Rey Day armors. There are no weapons that you can craft using Arch-Tempered Rey Dau monster materials, nor are there any obtainable pendants for completing the A Silent Flash Event Quest (pendants were only available in the \u201cThe Shining Storm Rages\u201d Free Challenge Quest<\/a>, which also featured an Arch-Tempered Rey Dau).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The return of the A Silent Flash Event Quest in July looks to be Capcom\u2019s way of increasing the game\u2019s difficulty and giving players more things to do. Following a dwindling player count,<\/a> likely due to the PC version\u2019s poor performance, the presence of cheaters in online leaderboards<\/a>, and an overall lack of content, a lot is riding on Monster Hunter Wilds\u2019 Free Title Update 2 \u2013 which releases at the end of June. The update is meant to address many of the aforementioned issues, which will hopefully draw more people to come back to the game.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
