A rerun of the NIKKE and NieR collaboration was also announced for July 3, and Yoko Taro mentioned, though as a joke, that he probably regrets that collaboration \u2013 mostly because NIKKE keeps stealing all the sexy cosplayers from the Nier fanbase. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE | Producers&#039; Creative Dialogue Special Livestream\" width=\"1160\" height=\"653\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/EezDZURfSfk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In an \u201cunexpected praise session\u201d segment of the livestream, former Sony executive Shuhei Yoshida described what he liked about all three of the titles, noting that he was amazed by NIKKE\u2019s cast of characters and how the game was designed to show their back sides when you play \u2013 \u201cMy reaction was, <em>Well this game just won<\/em>.\u201d It was not too long before huge billboards featuring NIKKE characters started popping up all around Tokyo, he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To further illustrate the allure of NIKKE\u2019s characters, Yoko Taro brought up a previous collaboration between NieR:Automata and NIKKE. This collaboration introduced a lot of Nier fans to the world of NIKKE, and vice versa, but what Yoko didn\u2019t expect is that many Nier cosplayers, especially the ones who prefer wearing more revealing outfits, would eventually completely switch to cosplaying NIKKE characters. \u201cI wondered, <em>maybe we shouldn\u2019t have done this collab<\/em>,\u201d he joked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"864\" height=\"486\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 864px) 100vw, 864px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/20250611-489260001.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-48932\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/20250611-489260001.jpg 864w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/20250611-489260001-380x214.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/20250611-489260001-768x432.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>To wrap up the livestream, Yoko also commented: \u201cBoth NIKKE and Stellar Blade are incredibly high-quality titles, and to be honest, I feel intimidated and no longer want to be part of the same industry.\u201d His comments may sound slightly ironic sometimes, but under them lies a lot of respect for his colleagues and their work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rerun of the Goddess of Victory: NIKKE x NieR:Automata collaboration goes live on July 3.
