Kohachi Studio\u2019s director Shinano Ishiguro says that even though development was fully completed 20 years ago, the game remained \u201csealed away\u201d from the public. He doesn\u2019t reveal the exact circumstances, but suggests that there were significant hurdles blocking the game&#8217;s release. \u201cOver the past few years, I consulted with nearly everyone I met in the industry, and I was on the verge of giving up so many times, but finally, I was able to break the seal on this game,\u201d Ishiguro <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RyoSK1942\/status\/1932377522668445968\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">writes on X<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A teaser image shared by Kohachi Studio (seen in the X post above) shows off the game\u2019s pixel art environment, describing it as a \u201clost pixel art gem by a legendary team.\u201d Further details are expected to come out on June 12.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1514\" height=\"845\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1514px) 100vw, 1514px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/20250611-48891-001.jpg\" alt=\"Black Jet Finger\" class=\"wp-image-48895\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/20250611-48891-001.jpg 1514w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/20250611-48891-001-380x212.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/20250611-48891-001-768x429.jpg 768w\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Black Jet Finger<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Other than working on \u201cbreaking the seal\u201d on their past project, Kohachi Studio is also working on Black Finger JET, a new side-scrolling run-and-gun shooter. The game was originally announced in 2023, and <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/snk-veterans-new-project-black-finger-jet-is-back-up-and-running\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">after encountering some financial setbacks<\/a>, the project is back on track with the support of UAE gaming studio Red Dunes Games.
