There will be no differences in content between the Japanese and overseas versions of the game. There are also no national or regional restrictions, so you can enjoy the same experience no matter where you are.<\/em>\u00a0<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This statement seems to be a way to reassure fans in response to Silent Hill f getting a CERO:Z (ages 18 and up) rating, which is <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/silent-hill-f-is-the-first-game-in-the-series-to-be-rated-18-in-japan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a first for a Silent Hill game<\/a>. With depictions of themes like gender discrimination, child abuse, bullying, drug-induced hallucinations, torture, and violence in a 1960s Japan setting that were not filtered to comply with modern ethical standards, it seems that Silent Hill f\u2019s developers want everyone to experience the uncensored psychological horror of the game.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The final statement is just as important, as Silent Hill f was <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/silent-hill-f-ban-in-australia-retracted-age-rating-up-for-review-again\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">initially thought to be banned from launching in Australia<\/a> due to the Australian Classification Board temporarily giving the game a \u201cRefused Classification\u201d rating. The board has since retracted this rating and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.classification.gov.au\/titles\/silent-hill-f-0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">classified the game<\/a> as &#8220;Mature Accompanied (MA 15+)&#8221; following re-review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1263\" height=\"712\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1263px) 100vw, 1263px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/20250606-48798-001.jpg\" alt=\"Silent Hill f\" class=\"wp-image-48800\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/20250606-48798-001.jpg 1263w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/20250606-48798-001-380x214.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/20250606-48798-001-768x433.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It is currently unknown if Konami made any compromises to Silent Hill f that would allow it to go uncensored for all versions.
