Hinako is modelled after and voiced by Japanese actress Konatsu Kato, who recently shared a message about her involvement in the game. Alongside the usual expressions of gratitude for the role, Kato commented, \u201cI\u2019ve been living as Hinako in the world of Silent Hill for a long time now. The title\u2019s Steam page warns about portrayals of child abuse, bullying and torture, while it\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esrb.org\/ratings\/40315\/silent-hill-f\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ESRB summary<\/a> describes&nbsp;gruesome depictions of body parts being sawed off, people being burned alive and branded by hot irons. Konami advises players to take breaks or speak to loved ones if they get overwhelmed while playing, so perhaps it\u2019s no wonder that the cast members found working on the game emotionally taxing.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Silent Hill f\u2019s developers have promised to stay true to the franchise\u2019s roots in psychological horror despite the changes in setting, and <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.playstation.com\/2025\/06\/04\/silent-hill-f-launches-september-25-ps5-gameplay-revealed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">producer Motoi Okamoto explained<\/a> that Hinako\u2019s choices can lead her either to embracing elegance and beauty, or to madness and horror.
