{"id":48548,"date":"2025-05-30T17:52:54","date_gmt":"2025-05-30T08:52:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/?p=48548"},"modified":"2025-05-30T17:53:08","modified_gmt":"2025-05-30T08:53:08","slug":"the-hundred-line-last-defense-academy-devs-considering-adding-even-more-routes-through-future-dlc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/the-hundred-line-last-defense-academy-devs-considering-adding-even-more-routes-through-future-dlc\/","title":{"rendered":"The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy devs considering adding even more routes through future DLC"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Too Kyo Games\u2019 story-dense TRPG <strong>The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy<\/strong> has been causing quite a stir with its 100 routes, <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/the-hundred-line-last-defense-academys-script-is-long-enough-to-print-60-paperback-novels-kodaka-reveals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">60-novels-long-script<\/a> and almost <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/the-hundred-line-last-defense-academy-takes-an-average-of-180-hours-to-complete-but-heres-why-playtime-can-vary-wildly\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">180 hours of gameplay<\/a>, with many considering it a contender for GOTY (<a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/the-hundred-line-last-defense-academy-director-doesnt-consider-the-game-typical-goty-material\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">though the devs don\u2019t quite agree<\/a>). Now that the first post-release patch featuring quality-of-life enhancements and bug fixes has been released, fans are wondering if there will be any more new routes added to the game, and it seems like the devs are very open to the possibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We are working on bug fixes and improvements. As for me, I also want to do DLC with additional routes. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/n9NPMaJJzB\">https:\/\/t.co\/n9NPMaJJzB<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Kazutaka kodaka\/\u5c0f\u9ad8\u548c\u525b (@kazkodaka) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/kazkodaka\/status\/1928252820073107610?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 30, 2025<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Hundred Line director Kazutaka Kodaka has always been very open to feedback from fans, casually replying to any comments and suggestions on his X and Bluesky accounts. To a comment asking about more content, Kodaka replied that he wants to eventually add new routes to the game as DLCs. Of course, it\u2019s important to note that this is just Kodaka\u2019s personal wish \u2013 no additional routes or DLCs have been officially confirmed as of yet. However, given that Too Kyo Games was created so that its devs would have the freedom to <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/danganronpa-creator-left-spike-chunsoft-so-that-he-could-do-unlimited-overtime-work-and-take-risks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">do crazy things that usually wouldn\u2019t be allowed by established companies<\/a>, it would be completely on-brand for them to drop even more new content for those who have already completed all 100 endings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"960\" height=\"540\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/20250530-485480001.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-48551\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/20250530-485480001.jpg 960w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/20250530-485480001-380x214.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/20250530-485480001-768x432.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>For now, the dev team\u2019s goal is to focus on fixing bugs and adding improvements to the game.
