Capcom published a video presentation<\/a> of its financial results for the recently ended fiscal year (April 2024 \u2013 March 2025) on May 21. In the presentation, Capcom laid out its plans for expansion \u2013 including the construction of new development hubs and steady upsizing of its workforce. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As reported by GameBiz<\/a>, Capcom is actively working on expanding its development capacity. To this end, the company is constructing a new building near its headquarters in Osaka, scheduled to be completed in 2027. In addition, Capcom has acquired another nearby piece of land for the construction of another future development site. The developer comments that its goal is to secure a working environment where its \u201ccreators can unleash their talents fully.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Capcom also plans to keep expanding in terms of human resources \u2013 the company will continue its strategy of employing 100 new staff each year, as it views human talent as an \u201cessential driver of growth.\u201d They\u2019re also making efforts to improve working conditions, with some of their goals for the next few years being to reduce the gender wage gap to less than 12% and encourage more male workers to use paid parental leave. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025, Capcom recorded its eighth consecutive year of record-high profits. It doesn’t expect this streak to end any time soon either, with revenue and profits for the following fiscal year projected at all-time highs<\/a>.
