According to the company\u2019s forecasts, the next fiscal year is expected to&nbsp;continue the streak, with both sales and profit projected at all-time highs (as reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/gamebiz.jp\/news\/405616\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GameBiz<\/a>).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The full forecast is as follows:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#eaeaea\">Sales: 190 billion yen (up 12.0% year-on-year)&nbsp;<br>Operating profit: 73 billion yen (up 11.0% year-on-year)&nbsp;<br>Ordinary profit: 70 billion yen (up 6.6% year-on-year)&nbsp;<br>Net profit: 51 billion yen (up 5.3% year-on-year)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Capcom\u2019s targets for the fiscal year ended March 2025 were heavily weighted toward Monster Hunter Wilds, which released in the fourth quarter and shipped over 10 million copies, successfully <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/capcom-to-see-another-year-of-record-high-annual-sales-and-profits-thanks-to-monster-hunter-wilds\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">turning around the first three quarters\u2019 comparatively weaker figures<\/a>. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, Capcom\u2019s forecast for the ongoing fiscal year (ending March 31, 2026) expects growth to come mainly from catalogue sales, i.e. sales of games released in previous fiscal periods (which includes continued sales of Monster Hunter Wilds). Sales of new games (released after April 1, 2025) are expected to drop by 35.4% percent to 8 million units, while catalogue sales are expected to grow by 16.5% to 46 million copies.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Capcom\u2019s new releases for the current fiscal year include Capcom Fighting Collection 2, and Onimusha 2: Samurai\u2019s Destiny, as well as the Nintendo Switch 2 versions of Street Fighter 6 and Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess.
