While most enemies in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33<\/strong> either remain stationary or make a beeline for your party, the elusive P\u00e9tanks will stop at nothing to make sure you can\u2019t catch them. These skittish foes drop some valuable items when defeated, so you\u2019ll want to corner and eliminate them before they can get away. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keep an eye out for locking areas <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

P\u00e9tanks are almost always found in enclosed open areas, giving them many escape routes. However, these places will always have a locking area that allows you to trap the P\u00e9tank. By corralling a P\u00e9tank into a locking area, you will prevent it from escaping and be able to attack it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember to check the remaining turns whenever the P\u00e9tank\u2019s turn begins<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Fighting a P\u00e9tank is a race against time <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You have a limited number of turns to defeat a P\u00e9tank once a battle begins. The P\u00e9tank will use ranged and melee attacks as well as summon extra Nevrons to aid it in battle. Be sure to use your strongest attacks\/Skills and make use of the Break system to deal as much damage within the allotted time. The orb in a P\u00e9tank\u2019s chest isn\u2019t a shootable weak point, so it would be best to save your Action Points (AP) for other Skills instead. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you run out of turns and the P\u00e9tank escapes, resting at an Expedition Flag will cause it to respawn. Defeated P\u00e9tanks won\u2019t respawn, so farming them is not possible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
