The mod, simply titled \u201cGood Ass Tekken,\u201d removes the Heat System, Rage System, Armor, and many other features that some players deem unfair or broken.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Devil Jin vs Dragunov REAL Tekken 8 Mod Gameplay. No Heat, No Rage, No Tracking, No Armor.\" width=\"1160\" height=\"653\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3jXqt5DSpQg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Different versions of the mod can be downloaded from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/redirect?event=video_description&amp;redir_token=QUFFLUhqbTJPS1RBblloLThrVjlpbWhOR0hPVkJQcU1VZ3xBQ3Jtc0tuV0pZRDZmMTU1Uk83dUh5Tkl5cW41TVRtTFVpN0NveGdPaEZIRDdaSldVQjlWZXBJUGN2RHg4MncyS3BDMS1QT0JNMm9IWE1vNkpaSk5NekYyMEMweVV2TS1wNDllUkVpQm5MN2hnajRwby1KS2hxcw&amp;q=https%3A%2F%2Fdiscord.com%2Finvite%2FtTMZHRPQvE&amp;v=3jXqt5DSpQg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fight Club Discord channel<\/a>, allowing players to play with the parameters they deem fair and balanced. One version of the mod removes the Rage System and tracking at the start of certain moves while another removes tracking from homing moves altogether.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1151\" height=\"453\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1151px) 100vw, 1151px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/20250414-47021-001JPG.jpg\" alt=\"Fight Club Discord channel\" class=\"wp-image-47026\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/20250414-47021-001JPG.jpg 1151w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/20250414-47021-001JPG-380x150.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/20250414-47021-001JPG-768x302.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>While players have different opinions as to <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/tekken-producer-katsuhiro-harada-opens-up-about-the-severe-side-effects-of-stress-he-experienced-while-developing-tekken-4\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">which is the best Tekken game<\/a>, KulaGGin says the purpose of \u201cGood Ass Tekken\u201d is to make Tekken 8 more like Tekken 5:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cThe general idea is to have a well-balanced game where all moves have good risk-reward and not too big of a reward. So no 150-damage combos and launchers that lead to them.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Though KulaGGin has a general ruleset for what he wants the mod to be, player interactions and feedback will help shape it in the long run.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many Tekken players are <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Edmitsu\/status\/1911578076997132514\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">welcoming of the \u201cGood Ass Tekken\u201d mod<\/a>, citing its lack of gimmicks as a return to form for the franchise. Others are not so keen on the mod\u2019s excessive removal of certain features and <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/NoizyChild\/status\/1911588442770637213\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">would recommend playing past Tekken games to modding Tekken 8<\/a> to be more like a classic title.
