So you’ve managed to finish Venus Vacation Prism: Dead or Alive Xtreme<\/strong> and (hopefully) managed to end up with your favorite Venus. But what happens after the credits roll? With so many scenarios, unlockables and endings available, you need to play Venus Vacation: Dead or Alive Xtreme in New Game Plus more than once to see everything the game has to offer.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Venus<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Venus cosmetics and photograph features remain unlocked on succeeding playthroughs <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Venus outfits, hairstyles, and accessories<\/a> that are unlocked by gaining Fans carry over to New Game Plus. The same can be said of the Time-Stopping Hourglass<\/a>, which is currently the only unlockable photograph feature<\/a>. You get the Time-Stopping Hourglass by completing the main story once, or by purchasing the Digital Deluxe Edition<\/a> of Venus Vacation Prism: Dead or Alive Xtreme.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All the outfits, scenarios, and phone messages you unlocked in past playthroughs can be viewed in the Museum, making it the best way to keep track of your overall progress while still being able to jump to your favorite parts of the story.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Story progress resets, but gaining Fans and Venus interest in easier <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Each New Game Plus playthrough restarts your story progress from Chapter 1, creating this Groundhog Day-eque scenario where you\u2019re the only one on the Venus Islands who remembers past events. All of the Fans and Venus interest you gain is reset (Fan progress for cosmetics still carries over), requiring you to work your way from the beginning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To offset your lost progress, New Game Plus increases the rate at which you gain Fans and Venus interest. While this is good for all aspects of the game, it is especially advantageous for increasing Fans and Venus interest with girls that are introduced in later chapters. For instance, maxing your bond with Elise (the final Venus) is much easier in New Game Plus thanks to the percentage increase. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even with the benefits that New Game Plus provides, you still need to complete Venus Vacation Prism: Dead or Alive several times to unlock all the content. While you can get all of the Venuses\u2019 outfits in a few playthroughs, unlocking all the scenarios requires you to increase each Venus\u2019s interest and pick the appropriate dialogue options<\/a>. This will be no problem for a die-hard Dead or Alive Xtreme fan, but other players might want to take a break before rewinding the clock to the first Venus Fest day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
