Ultimate\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Following the initial announcement of <strong>Kirby Air Riders<\/strong> during April 2\u2019s Nintendo Direct, director Masahiro Sakurai has shared new information about the title\u2019s development team.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Sora_Sakurai\/status\/1907704547243602378\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">announcement on X<\/a>, Sakurai comments, \u201cJust like Super Smash Bros. for Wii U &amp; 3DS and Ultimate, the recently announced Kirby Air Riders game is also being developed by Bandai Namco Studios.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Kirby Air Riders \u2013 Nintendo Direct | Nintendo Switch 2\" width=\"1160\" height=\"653\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/oJVsNMp_nAU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Kirby Air Riders is a long-awaited sequel to 2003\u2019s Kirby Air Ride. The original GameCube racing game was developed by HAL Laboratory, with Sakurai at the helm as director. On the other hand, it seems the sequel\u2019s development is being handled by Bandai Namco Studios.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apart from being involved in original Bandai Namco IPs like Tekken, Bandai Namco Studios has done development work for a number of Nintendo titles, including Super Smash. Bros, Super Smash. Bros Ultimate and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
