As such, the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game will have a small special room that makes use of the new Joy-Con mouse functionality.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"DELTARUNE Nintendo Switch 2 Announce Trailer\" width=\"1160\" height=\"653\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/yDzgiGdekas?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Fox didn\u2019t reveal much about the special room, other than mentioning it was shown in the new Deltarune Nintendo Switch 2 Announce Trailer. While the trailer showed a lot of gameplay clips, the room Fox is talking about is likely the one where you have to protect the heart in the center of the screen by moving two cursors marked \u201cL\u201d and \u201cR\u201d (signifying the left and right Joy-Con controllers):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1347\" height=\"755\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1347px) 100vw, 1347px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/20250403-46658-001.jpg\" alt=\"Delatrune Ninendo Swich 2 room\" class=\"wp-image-46660\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/20250403-46658-001.jpg 1347w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/20250403-46658-001-380x213.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/20250403-46658-001-768x430.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Even if you can\u2019t snag a Nintendo Switch 2 on launch day, Fox says that the special room will still be present in other versions of Deltarune Chapters 1-4, only with a different control scheme. He goes on to clarify that all non-Nintendo Switch 2 versions will have the same content and that there are no big differences in the amount of content between any version of the game (<a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/toby-fox-teases-another-new-character-for-deltarune-chapter-3-and-4\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">players will also receive Pluey for free<\/a>).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Barring specific consoles\u2019 capacities to import save files from past consoles and the Deltarune Chapter 1&amp;2 Demo (the Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 can import save files from the Nintendo Switch 1 and PlayStation 4 respectively), the only big difference between the Deltarune Chapters 1-4 versions is the inclusion of trophies on the PlayStation 4 and 5.
