Coinciding with the announcement of the Nintendo Switch 2\u2019s launch date, creator <a href=\"https:\/\/toby.fangamer.com\/newsletters\/release-date\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Toby Fox announced via newsletter<\/a> that the compilation will be sold for $24.99 and will include all of the game\u2019s chapters.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"DELTARUNE Nintendo Switch 2 Announce Trailer\" width=\"1160\" height=\"653\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/yDzgiGdekas?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Fox, $24.99 represents how much he thinks the first four chapters cost. As Chapters 1-4 are the only chapters that have been completed so far, any future chapters (Deltarune\u2019s chapter menu shows a total of seven chapters) will be added as free updates at no extra cost. Considering Deltarune Chapters 1-4 will be Fox\u2019s most expensive game to date when it releases (Undertale costs $9.99 <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/toby-fox-makes-fake-hidden-message-from-his-own-post-to-promote-undertales-90-sale-referencing-fan-conspiracy-theories\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">barring any sales<\/a>), he wants you to feel like you\u2019re getting the entire Deltarune experience at a good price.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1345\" height=\"750\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1345px) 100vw, 1345px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/20250403-46652-001.jpg\" alt=\"Deltarune\" class=\"wp-image-46655\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/20250403-46652-001.jpg 1345w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/20250403-46652-001-380x212.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/20250403-46652-001-768x428.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Like Undertale, Fox plans to release the Deltarune Chapters 1-4 soundtrack on Steam. The album will cost $14.99 and include over 150 songs from the first four chapters. As with the main game, purchasing the soundtrack allows you to download the music of any future chapter for free once it is released.
