While this doesn\u2019t affect Deltarune\u2019s overall rating, it can make parents more cautious before installing the game for their kids.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-bluesky-social wp-block-embed-bluesky-social\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"bluesky-embed\" data-bluesky-uri=\"at:\/\/did:plc:vshnclkqqguyg6xcz6q7g65k\/app.bsky.feed.post\/3ll4s67runs24\" data-bluesky-cid=\"bafyreieat32ggjb2gasdqzgdhwm44ibhieushwwv6i74riafkiryivhsci\"><p lang=\"en\">Apparently, IARC recently decided to update the rating of the DELTARUNE Chapter 1&amp;2 demo to include \u2018In-Game Purchases\u2019 because it links to UNDERTALE\u2019s store page at the start&#8230;.There are no plans for in-game purchases in the full game.<\/p>&mdash; <a href=\"https:\/\/bsky.app\/profile\/did:plc:vshnclkqqguyg6xcz6q7g65k?ref_src=embed\">tobyfox (@tobyfox.undertale.com)<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/bsky.app\/profile\/did:plc:vshnclkqqguyg6xcz6q7g65k\/post\/3ll4s67runs24?ref_src=embed\">2025-03-24T12:49:19.547Z<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/embed.bsky.app\/static\/embed.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Fox, Deltarune received the \u201cIn-Game Purchases\u201d tag because its introduction features a link to the Undertale store page (something that has been in the game for a while). Though the Deltarune Chapter 1&amp;2 demo is a free title, Undertale is not (it has been on <a href=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/news\/toby-fox-makes-fake-hidden-message-from-his-own-post-to-promote-undertales-90-sale-referencing-fan-conspiracy-theories\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a deep sale<\/a>, however). As such, the IARC thought it wise to issue a warning about players being asked if they want to buy Undertale when they open Deltarune.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To be clear, Fox has stated there are no plans for in-game purchases in the full version of Deltarune.
