As cool as Monster Hunter Wilds<\/strong>\u2019 armor sets are, sometimes you just want to marvel at the character you spent so long creating. Here\u2019s how you can hide your character\u2019s helmet and weapons without removing any of their associated buffs.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Monster<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Open the Start menu and go to the \u201cSystem\u201d tab. Under \u201cSystem\u201d, choose \u201cOptions\u201d and flip to the third page of the \u201cGame Settings\u201d menu. It is here where you will find the \u201cHead Armor Visibility\u201d and \u201cWeapon Visibility\u201d tabs.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Monster<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Head Armor Visibility allows you to choose from three options. \u201cShow\u201d will always show your character wearing their helmet during gameplay and in cutscenes. \u201cHide\u201d will put your character\u2019s beautiful mug in view no matter the circumstances. \u201cHide During Cutscenes\u201d provides a happy medium between the two previous options, as your character\u2019s helmet will only be hidden during story cutscenes.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Monster<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Weapon Visibility has both \u201cShow\u201d and \u201cHide During Cutscenes\u201d, but it does not have a \u201cHide\u201d option. Considering how important and defining a hunter\u2019s weapon is, Capcom probably wanted players\u2019 weapons to be visible at all times during gameplay. While most weapons block you from viewing your character, it does a better job of immersing you in the world and makes it easy for other players to identify your loadout. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
