The game is an RPG adaptation of the popular magical girl anime by Magica Quartet.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Originally slated for a 2024 launch, Puella Magi Madoka<strong>: <\/strong>Magia Exedra is now coming out in Spring 2025. At the end of January 2025, it had more than 500,000 pre-registered users across mobile platforms, with the number shooting up to over 600,000 by February 10 (source: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamebiz.jp\/news\/401484\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Gamebiz<\/a>). Gree described this as \u201ctrending above our expectations.\u201d \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" src=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/20250227-44929-header2.jpg\" alt=\"Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Magia Exedra \" class=\"wp-image-44933\" srcset=\"https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/20250227-44929-header2.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/20250227-44929-header2-380x214.jpg 380w, https:\/\/automaton-media.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/20250227-44929-header2-768x432.jpg 768w\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite it being increasingly difficult to attract pre-registered users in the highly competitive mobile game market these days, GREE stated that the latest Puella Magi Madoka game is currently doing well compared to the pre-release performance of the group\u2019s past hit titles. The power of the IP, plus the large number of pre-registrations, has prompted GREE to state that they \u201chave high expectations\u201d for the game\u2019s post-launch performance. Dungeon crawling through treacherous Witch Labyrinths, you will engage in command-based combat, uncover memories of missing Magical Girls and run into beloved characters from the anime series.
