During its third-quarter financial results press conference<\/a> last week, Capcom’s representatives expressed high expectations for the upcoming Monster Hunter Wilds<\/strong>. Not only is the game getting positive reviews from early testers, but preorders are also doing well number-wise, which will help with the company\u2019s plan to sell 13 million units of new titles<\/a> by the end of the fiscal year.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Capcom didn\u2019t give any concrete figures regarding Monster Hunter Wilds\u2019 preorders, the game\u2019s high popularity can be seen on several retailer sales rankings and wishlists. On Steam<\/a>, Monster Hunter Wilds currently ranks first in the Wishlist category and is the fourth top-selling game on the platform (it has also been in the top 100 Top Sellers list for nine weeks in a row).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monster Hunter Wilds is also the top preordered game on Amazon Japan (source: Famitsu<\/a>), and is the fourth best-selling game-related purchase on the platform.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
